Day 1:
You will be picked up at your hotel in Chiang Rai at 10am.
Your trip will begin with a longtail boat ride on the river for approximately 50 minutes to arrive at a Karen village and its elephants. You will have time to explore the village and observe and feed the elephants with bananas and sugar cane. You will have lunch in the village and then the actual trek will start.
You will pass through different landscape like the Karen village, terrace rice fields, mountain plantations, bamboo forest... before arriving at a waterfall for relaxation time and swimming in its cool water.
Then, you will continue the trek through the mountains to reach the village of Yafu inhabited by the Lahu tribe. You will be welcomed by a Lahu family in their bamboo house, dine with them and sleep there.
Day 2:
The day will start early with breakfast at 8:30 am. Then you will walk head to the mountain rice fields, and adjacent plantations.
Before reaching a superb viewpoint. Your lunch will be cooked traditionally in bamboo sticks.
